The Food - Halal Food Goes to Campus Finally Held

The Food - Indonesia is one country with a majority Muslim population. Therefore, halal certification should be widely disseminated. LPPOM MUIpun held a variety of routine activities, such as those conducted at the University Djuanda Bogor on Wednesday.

In cooperation with the Faculty of Agribusiness and Food Technology (Faten) Djuanda University Bogor, LPPOM MUI hold the event entitled 'Halal Faten Unida Day'. Event held at the multipurpose field Unida is the first program "Halal Food Goes to Campus' that carried LPPOM MUI. Later a similar event will be held at another campus.

According to Executive Director Lukmanul Hakim LPPOM MUI, Indonesia public awareness on halal products is still low. Hopefully, from now Indonesia has a passion to build a lawful character.

Muslim population of Indonesia is entitled to consume halal products, but there are still many products that do not have a halal certificate. "This event is our title so that people care about society and what products should be consumed and used", said Judge Lukmanul.

Faten Unida Halal Day activities are also held to celebrate the anniversary of the campus to 25. Kosher snack creation contest held, coloring contest, as well as bazaars. There is also an interactive talk show entitled "Tips for Choosing a Safe Snacks, Healthy, and Halal".
